I hadn't heard anything about the tour in a long time, so I just googled it and went to the website. The most recent stop was in Memphis on like March 23rd. Did it just close last month? Is it on break? It should have ended a long time ago... why do you think the show did so poorly on tour? Did they need a big name? Was it all started because of the awful new opening number?

It probably closed because the demand wasn't high, and it has been touring a while...I saw it in Boston - last March or April. I am not even sure it recouped on Broadway.
I don't think the opening number influenced the shows closing, but I didn't like it as well. I think they should've kept the original number.

I saw it last year, and it was a basic replica of the Broadway production.

The tour was Equity until last May-June and then resumed again this season around November as a non-Equity tour with a different creative team. Hope this clears up any confusion.
Dean: Can I tell you something?
Lorraine: That depends on what it is.
Dean: I think you're really really pretty.
Lorraine: (after a pause) Ok, you can tell me that.
I saw it in the end Feb., the talent was great but the set is so scraped they got rid of the part of Lawrence's house that is used a lot during Great Big Stuff, no back drop for ruprecht, got rid of the set of stairs.
