Nine hundred thirty thousand, one hundred eighty minutes.
That’s how you measure the total running time “Rent” will have played on Broadway when, as the producers said on Tuesday, it closes after its evening performance on June 1, making it the seventh-longest-running Broadway show in history.
"In theater, the process of it is the experience. Everyone goes through the process, and everyone has the experience together. It doesn't last - only in people's memories and in their hearts. That's the beauty and sadness of it. But that's life - beauty and the sadness. And that is why theater is life." Sherie Rene Scott
You must think I'm still sixteen.
I dropped out of high school for a reason.
And I don't care if you're pretty. I'm not admitting you are right.
My soul is not a stage.
I won't pretend I'm anything I'm not
Does anyone think that after ticket sales pick up, it will extend?

Annak...If you spend your life waiting for a "link" to some press release, then you will be behind everyone else.
Les Miz revival...Usher in Chicago...O'Hara in SP...Sheri in LM...some of the things I broke here on BWW. As an industry person, I know what's going on.
Feel free to to believe it or not. Don't really care.
And Phyllis....Since you're an industry insider, why don't you feel free to share with us. Hmmm....
Ignorance is temporary. Stupidity last forever.
Watch out BWW...
HE'S BACK.
"Yes..maybe you missed my last post that said "offical word". But then again, it's much more fun to bitch about how no one knows the inside story.
Glad I could break it for ya."
Well, I'm sorry. I did miss it.

I'm not insulting you, but I do happen to like to have things official before I believe them. Silly me. Being behind everyone else doesn't much bother me. If you don't really care, there was no need to bring it back up. At any rate, no mo Rent.
I mean, Denzel Washington? Gun to my head..of course.
Laugh as you may, I just died a little inside. I've wanted for a large majority of my life to see 'the musical that got me into musicals" on Broadway, and now it's not gonna happen.
