I don't think it is "Live" on line , but I am sure if you go on youtube that evening or the next day, I am sure someone would have posted a video...

Just got back from the concert - which was great! There were dozens of people recording it so I'd bet there will be performances on YouTube really soon...

I was there - I loved it! I taped all of The Fantasticks, all of SA, and two songs of Wicked - after watching, I can't believe I didn't tape The Color Purple. But all of them did a great job.

Julia Murney is my new homegirl.

The concert today was great. Everyone sounded amazing, and kudos to them for performing in the crazy heat.

It was one of the best Broadway in Bryant Parks I've seen. The crowd was just nuts for Spring Awakening - and the cast did a wonderful job.

What songs did SA and Wicked perform?

I didn't realize the entire cast of SA was there this week. The snippet on BWW said John Gallagher, Jr. and Lauren Pritchard, unless I read wrong.

Oh well, seeing it next week anyway.

Gerard Canonico did well in that line or two of Hanschen's in place of Jonathan Wright - I wonder if he'll fill in for him tonight (I rushed this morning and got two tickets for me and my sister for tonight(it's her birthday tomorrow)). re: Bway in Bryant Park

Uh-oh. Did poor Sebastian get groped again? It's too hot outside for all that. re: Bway in Bryant Park

Anyway, I hope that someone puts some footage of JM on youtube. I wish I could have gone!

Interestingly enough, Sebastian did more of the groping this time. They were sickeningly adorable- holding hands and he put his arm around her, and at the end he picked her up and carried her off.

Julia Murney? Since they sing the song together in the show?

Those two are having a ball in their roles together, aren't they? Too cute.

I hope the wedding will still go down as planned in October. re: Bway in Bryant Park

Julia was fierce this afternoon and the ladies from The Color Purple were fantastic!

So true, she really was! I didn’t care that I saw Color Purple understudies, they were fantastic.

I saw Julia being interviewed for something this afternoon- anyone know for what?

And I agree Julia was great this afternoon and she and Sebastian are really cute together. Although, I was standing in the back so they were also the only people I could hear...

I was there and it was WONDERFUL. I met Julia Murney, Skylar Astin, Remy Zaken, Jenn Damiano, and John Gallagher! Everybody went crazy for Spring Awakening and Julia's The Wizard and I got a standing ovation!

did not like julia murney at all. her voice is too legit on these songs. the vibrato is overpowering and her style is all wrong for the music in my opinion.

montego glover was incredible in "i'm here". She was really the highlight of the whole day for me. Spring Awakening was awesome as well...when are they not?

I only caught The Color Purple and Spring Awakening, and was thrilled with both of them. I was down by stage left, and the audience around there was really into both performances.

I'm not familiar with TCP, but I really enjoyed their bit. "Push The Button" was a lot of fun. And Montego Glover...for someone who understudies a critic and audience darling like Fantasia, this girl could have gotten some cold reception--but she really won the crowd over. "I'm Here" got a standing ovation from a number of people (myself included, though since I was already standing...)

I thought the cast of SA did a great job as well. I loved the song selection--probably my three favorites in the show. "My Junk" and "Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind" were both solid, though some voices were tough to hear. "Touch Me" was perfection. It built up and swelled just the way it should...a really excellent performance, I thought.

I arrived late to Bryant Park so I missed The Fantasticks and The Color Purple, but I made it just in time for Spring Awakening, which was fantastic! which were both fantastic. I'm not a big fan of Wicked, but Murney did a great job with "The Wizard and I". Overall, great day at Bryant Park.

Did they say anything about tomorrow's show if it rains? Are they having a raindate next week?

I don't think they usually have raindates but I'm interested to know what happens as well. I was planning on going tomorrow too.
