I expected to be blown away by Patti, but Benanti looks amazing! They way she acts like an awkward young kid in one scene and then turns into this seductive stripper by the end is amazing!
Obviously it is hard to get a full appreciation for a show and its cast by a short video but I was impressed with Benanti. I loved the Gypsy revival but thought Tammy Blanchard was the weak link.
I wish I could see this although I am not a Patti fan. Unfortunately, I will be in town the weekend it is dark.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Saw the show last night. I was totally blown away by everybodies performances! It was hard for me to keep seated during Patti's take on Rose's turn! Boyd Gaines was great! As was Benanti! It was nice to see a show with a full orchestra and a fanastic Overture!
Those Blocked: SueStorm. N2N Nate. Good riddence to stupid! Rad-Z, shill begone!
Just got back from today's matinee. This was by far the best show I have seen all year. Incredible. Patti was (predictably) awesome and Laura completely blew me away...her best performance ever on stage! Boyd Gaines was also fantastic. I will probably go see this again. What a wonderful afternoon at the theater.
Who plays Tessie and the other two strippers??????
Thank you for posting......although when I saw the word "Highlights" I was expecting to see some of "Everything's Coming up Roses" and "Rose's Turn". Well, I guess there is some footage of it, but no audio sound. At any rate, I'm glad you posted it, because I doubt I'll get to see it unless it transfers to Broadway.
