Anyone know where Student Rush seats for Paper Mill's A CHORUS LINE have been located? Oct 24
2012, 01:35:20 PM
I bought rush tickets to the opening night performance and they were in the last row of the mezzaine. I am sure that since the run is ending, they will be in the orchestra. I have been to other shows at the Papermill and bought rush and they were fantastic seats.

A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC'S reopening tonight.... Jul 14
2010, 01:14:05 PM
Saw the show last night from the balcony and moved down to the boxes for the 2nd act. Much better view by the way! Bernadette's performance was smart and nuanced. It's so hard not to compare to the previous performer but she was smart about the acting decisions she made. She was sincere and vulnerable but not overall dramatic. I also loved (as someone else commented) how committed she was to the role, using the cigarette in "You Must Meet My Wife". She was wonderful and pretty much perfect!
Why didn't they hire Bernadette in the first place? Jul 14

No matter how you feel about the decision, and I am an avid Bernadette fan, it was the right decision. A show like Night Music would have never gotten mounted on broadway without CZJ.

I feel the same way PalJoey. It's been very difficult to wrap my head around a different Desiree. The production had so much potential with Richardson and Redgrave. In regards to the revival, I am not denying the preview process either....just surprised that they came in to last night with so little!
- Can everyone in the show take their acting down a notch? It was bordering on hysterical and pushy. -Catherine Zeta Jones needs to stop shouting and running around so forcefully! There is an amplification system for a reason and she's gonna fall off the stage if she runs like the way she did in "Glamorous Life" again! I have faith that her line readings will improve- she has the most potential! -I was very disappointed in

To give you an idea about Kate's personality, one of my favorite theater memories have to do with being at Wall to Wall Sondheim. I left my seat to go to the restroom and when I came out, I noticed a girl with reddish hair standing by the merchandise table. She was looking at a poster and we started talking. I looked at her closer and said "Did I just see you at Opening Doors at Carnegie Hall?" and she replied yes and introduced herself as Kate Baldwin. We continued speaking and I realized that
re: Bernadette Peters Broadway Cares concert - did anyone go? Nov 10

Her "Children and Art" were the highlight for me. The entire concert was wonderful and she was in the best voice I have heard her in years! Adored her Follies renditions and the song she sang after that. I later found out that it's from the film "Red" and Sondheim scored the soundtrack...a little obscure but beautiful!
The opening was hilarious! Especially having the original cast members (Joy Franz among others) was great. Great all around!
PS. No one has mentioned that we san

So Hairspray has to do with race relationships in the '60's. Here's a picture of Doris Day...The Apollo Theater is in Harlem, at that time (and today) a rich African American community.

What a fitting tribute! I saw Vanessa's performance for St. John the Divine last Monday and it was eerily tragic. She is missed dearly.

Yikes, Stamos, Gershon and Irwin look terrible. Yet, I cannot resist this show, mainly it's score. "Rosie" just about makes my heart melt...and Allison sounds great in the finale. I loathe the projection backdrop though.

What a fantastic show! It's what I have been looking for all season .Something breathtakingly beautiful. The leads are all out of this world, especially Terri White, Chuck Cooper and Kate Baldwin! My sister and I student rushed it at yesterday's matinee and got first row center. The stage is smaller than GYPSY as they are using the orchestra and it's a perfect view! Can't wait to see it agian.
