I just love it that whenever someone asks a simple question, and is wrong about something, they're accused as making it up.

Jaimie wouldn't make something like that up. She was told by someone at the stage door that student rush was no longer in effectm and said nothing about the box office telling her so. She was simply asking if it was true, and had it happened to anyone else.

Not everyone is out to mess with your mind. You might want to learn that.

And it wasn't me who told her at the stage door, so more people were misinformed.

Fair enough, elphie. But I find it always good practice to ask about things with the proper sources rather than post rumors on the internets.

Doesn't look like some of you were "just checking if it were true" in this thread:

Actually looks like you were quite possibly stating "fact."

It's fine, WaltSummersPI. Just sick of all the questions to rumors to fact bashing that's been going on lately.

That is a good practice, but someone just misinterpreted some information. It's all good.

sorry for causing an uproar on here--clearly that was not my intent. i was not looking to start a rumor, i was merely looking for information. obviously, things were misinterpreted but all is well that ends well--:)

At the moment, there is still rush. As for next Sunday (closing day), I would assume there is going to be VERY limited if any.

I heard there won't be rush closing night...but I would inquire at the box office.

I asked about student rush a couple weeks ago for the final performance, and they said there most likely would NOT be student rush for that performance. And I would assume they're not, since their student rush is based on availability and that performance is sold out already.

The performance isn't sold out, it's just sold out to the general public. If you don't have a seat yet, wait until late next week, things will start to pop up on Telecharge, I'd wager.

Well, they're saying it's sold out. re: Grey Gardens Student Rush

And I already have my ticket. re: Grey Gardens Student Rush

I have a ticket in Orch F, but if something pops up in B, I'm not sure I'd be able to keep myself from buying it.

Telecharge is selling some premium tickets for the final show...the ones I saw were side aisle seats.

Not sure if anyone knows but will there be SRO for the final show?

There will be. When I went to buy my ticket and was informed that it was sold out, the woman at the box office said I should prepare to get up early!

Before I go to the theatre at 8am I just wanted to check and make sure that there will be student rush for Friday and Saturday?

FYI - While Telecharge had the closing listed as sold out all day today (even for premium seats,) I just went on and got a mezz seat for the final show.
