Posted: 7/14/07 at 12:20amHey--I was at the stage door tonight at GG and someone told me that student rush was no longer in effect. If someone could confirm this for me, it would be great. I was planning on rushing tomorrow and if I can't, I have to get to TKTS early, lol. HELP!

I can't imagine it will be sold out for a Wednesday matinee.

Posted: 7/17/07 at 4:26pmBox office opens at 10. The tix are whatever they have left of the front row of the orchestra, and then usually scattered seats in the mezzanine. Tonight's a little different, because of the understudies, they have been giving out house seats all day.

Whoever started this thread was making a rumor up. Plenty of us have bought student rush tix today.
... as well as attempted to purchase them and been told they are "no longer available" as in "SOLD OUT FOR THE DAY."
They were sold out of SR Saturday and Sunday when I went and I purchased 4 SR tickets today.
I think information was just misconstrued.
Student Rush is sold at 10am every weekday (when the box office opens).
Wednesday is 10am for the mat. and 3pm for the evening.
Saturday 10am for 2pm Matinee and 3pm for 8pm Evening Show
Sunday 12pm for 3pm Matinee
I love America. Just because I think gay dudes should be allowed to adopt kids and we should all have hybrid cars doesn't mean I don't love America.

The exact words the box office man said to me were "We are no longer selling student rush tickets" Obviously he meant that performance but I've always been told that student rush is sold out for today or we have none left.
