Gee Whiz, Kerry Butler#0

I keep watching this damn video from Kerry Butler's website (kerrybutler.net), and I think its so funny. Its a video from her appearance on Seth's Chatterbox, and the last clip has her singing the song "Gee Whiz" as her Penny Pingleton character. Does anyone know what Gee Whiz is from? Was it a cut song from Hairpsray?

PS: I think this video, although funny and joking, shows how effortlessly Kerry just belts out those notes. I love the way she moves her head as she does it. Most likely to release some of the tension while singing.

Go here and click on the "Seth Chatterbox Interview" and then to the "Gee Whiz" clip. I love it.

Well that would definitely be a good audition song for Penny.

Don't worry, there's enough of cheese and crackers for Kerry too. In fact, I heard she's really good at making drinks.

It was a song in the 60s by Carla Thomas and had a much different tempo and style.

That is indeed the song Kerry auditioned for the workshop of Hairpsray with...

That is the most ADORABLE video I've ever seen! Kerry is so funny and so inhumanly cute.

Now excuse me, I need to go mop up my puddle of drool.

Joziey, it's good to know that I am not the only one who watched that over and over again. I also love the clip of when she was on Seaseme Street.

I am looking into the status of the original site that contained the full feature. I have the DVD, but it would be clearly a huge drain on bandwidth and transfer amounts to put the full short up. I'll post in this thread when I have my "answer".
