Two very different entities Mateo..

The show down in Orlando is very cute and gets an amazing audience reaction which sadly you can only barely hear near the end. The opening number gets WILD applause and so many ooohs and ahhhhs.

It's a fast and furious 35 minute show that to perform, must be like running a marathon. There's very little dialogue and all the actors are running around like crazy... they call it the Finding Nemo Workout...

I'm sorry, but I think it looks really bad.

well it works.

When clicking to open the video I was saying to myself, "how bad is this going to be," but actually, the show looks really fun.

Nice video! Cool to see behind the scenes.

The show isn't terribly well represented though...no, it's not high drama by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a good time when you're there in the audience. The scenic and costume design is really stunning and puts other Disney theme park shows--and they have some great ones--to shame. I wasn't crazy about the score myself but it's certainly an achievement (an original 35-minute musical based on a non-musical source--the first time Disney has done that for a park I believe?) and it works. The movie will always be better, but that's to be expected given that the musical adaptation has been trimmed so much. But what they do in that short amount of time is a hoot, and if I may get a little sappy, it's worth it to see the kids light up. (Awwww.)

Diva - we may be having extra large traffic since it's a video that the disney fans are probably clicking on left and right around the net. My suggestion would be to open up the page and click pause on the player - let it all load in and then play it...

I personally think it looks amazing. I loved the jellyfishes and the sea turtles. I want to work in DisneyWorld after high school, and since I'm usually cast as kids, maybe one day I could try this. I have no clue how to operate those puppets though, but I could learn.

The show looks amazing! Thanks, Craig!

Lexy is just adorable.

Does anyone know if Lonny Price did the cast recording? I know he and Kate Wetherhead (who I know did the cast recording) did a little press release singing Big Blue World.

I think it looks great. I know people who have gone and loved it....i still love Tarzan Rocks...I am not sure if it was because the singer was cute or that I wanted to be the backup dancers haha.

I am so in love with the woman who is Dory...she is a hoot!

We have seen ity a few times now (seems like they have finally solved all of the tech issues that plagued it early on)

They have REALLY done a great job with it !! My fave is still the "Hunchback" show that was at MGM-

and, yes...definitely hit "Everest")

I wish the video would've interviewed a set of people who were double cast -- instead of just one of them. It makes it seem like there is a lead player who does as many shows as she can, and the other one covers her.

Lexy (and also Bobby/Kristen) state quite clearly the show is double cast.. not sure why you were left with the impression that one performer does more shows than another..

well, double cast means there are two people doing a part...not necessarily that they do so equally. And the only discussion of split was "there are 4 shows a day, and i do 2-4"...makes it seem like the split is uneven. cause the truth is that she does 0-4 shows a day.

combine that with the fact that only one cast is interviewed and filmed, and you must admit it is a bit confusing.

Just a short note to say that I got to see this last month while on vacation. I thought is was extremely well done with catchy music and the puppetry is simply gorgeous. It's quite a feast for the eyes trying to take everything in.

The Lopez team did a phenomenal job in capturing the spirit of the movie with such challenges, (namely consensing what is an 1 and a 1/2+ film into 35 minutes of stage time).

I don't know which guy was playing the role of Crush, (the turtle), when I saw it but he was so great! "Go With the Flow" is a demanding number and it seemed his voice had no limits. Fantastic!

Speaking of LIVE shows at Disney, someone mentioned they loved Hunchback. I never did get to see this but one of my all time Favourites was "Disney's Doug, Live!" I wish this one was still around. I REALLY wish I could get my hands on a recording of the music! So catchy and sweet.

Hi Amneris,

Yep, I am the one that mentioned "Hunchback" at MGM--- that was my fave--- Matt the Juggler at the preshow was worth the price of admission !!

"B & B" is still ok, but they scaled it back a lot, so its not the same--- That show we usually go see just for the preshow
- "Four for a Dollar"- they are really good !
