Posted: 2/11/07 at 6:31pmThe show opens on the 21st of Feb, It just started previews yesterday. I too thought yesterday was the OPENING NIGHT, becuase I read somewhere that previews began Jan 31st for a Feb 10th, opening, but I guess I read wrong...

I went last night and they changed a few things around from the tour cast (I've only seen the tour cast so I can only say differences between LA and the Tour). They cut out the dancing between Elphaba and the Wizard like they did in the other casts and if I'm not mistaken, Dancing Through Life has new choreography. There's a few other things here and there that I remember I noticed but I can't recall right now.
I didn't like Eden so much last night as I did when I saw her in San Francisco...I heard rumors that she was sick though so maybe that's why.
The ensemble seemed a bit weak here and there too but maybe I'm just so used to seeing the tour cast that it's weird seeing other people. It's still the first preview so I guess they'll all have time to work.

I saw it yesterday and loved it! I actually won the lottery! I am taking my 4 year old to see it on Thursday.....wish us luck on winning the lottery.
It started with a sipmle idea, collecting one paper clip for every life lost, the feelings that connect us...are greater than those that divide us!
