Bob Martin is leaving in March according to a casting notice for his replacement.
"This is a stupid story. It never stops. But we keep making lemonade! We're opening the biggest f***ing lemonade stand you ever saw!"

This whole OBC thing, in my opinion, is overrated.
When Les Miserables first opened in 1987 I was told by theater pundits that no one would ever match Colin Wilkenson (sp.). I thought Mark McVey was far superior.
Then, in 1988, the same thing was said about Michael Crawford in POTR. Personally, I preferred Davis Gaines.
I could go on and on with similar examples--Spamalot, The Jersey Boys, Carousel... .
The latest "now and forever" is Bob Martin. He's sensational but will he be remmebered in the same way as Rex Harrison or Yule Brenner?
Time will tell. But don't sweat it. The material will pretty much stand on its own. Updated On: 12/16/06 at 07:18 PM
As a previous poster said, Bob Martin is leaving in March. He will be reprising the role of Man in Chair in a London production expected to launch in the summer.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
"Bob Martin is leaving in March according to a casting notice for his replacement." Nooooooooooo I have to see it again before he leaves. I can't see anyone else in the role (besides myself).
