hah...this is going to sound bad, but the Light in the Piazza score almost wthout fail puts me to sleep if I want to nap. Its not that it's boring, it is just so soothing and rich. It is one of my new favourite scores and when I am wide awake I love listening to it too, but man can it put me to sleep quickly when I am in the mood.

I love to fall asleep to operaettas, especially "Roberta," or the 1955 cast recording of "Ankles Aweigh"

I listen to everything before I go to sleep. It sounds so dorky, but I like to listen to a score and picture how I would direct the show and whatnot, so I listen to anything from Tick Tick Boom to Miss Saigon to Little Women to Company.

I used to fall asleep to Songs for a New World, but I loved the music so much that I would stay up to listen to my favorite songs. So now I just listen to the radio.

I have a few sleep mixes on my ipod, but whole CDs, I like The Last 5 Years, and John Mayer's Room For Squares album.

The Last 5 Years is a good one because its relatively calm.

I listen to my ipod almost every night before I go to sleep. It has a very relaxing effect especially if I've had a rough day and the music that I listen to is familiar and comforting.

I've been getting into the habit of listening to my iPod until I'm so out of it. I lay in bed and just drift off.

Last night I feel asleep listening to Piazza and that was lovely.

I've got a playlist of my favorite overtures; it's easier to fall asleep if there's no words to mouth along to.

That said, I'll fall asleep to anything. I used to listen to the Assassins revival CR when I was falling asleep and then a gunshot would wake me up.

I usually get really obsesse with something and listen to it for a few weeks and then all the sudden get bored with it and go on to soemthign else. I used to fall asleep to the POTO movie soundtrack then Wicked then RENT then DRS then RENT movie soundtrack then L5Y (except then I would be crying as I went to sleep) then Spamalot (literally listened to it every night for 2 weeks) and now I'm back to DRS.

I find it's not as much one show that puts me to sleep, but rather someone's vocals. When i was in London a couple years ago, i had to listen to Colm Wilkinson singing something, just about anything to fall asleep.
Nowadays when i'm agitated, i put on Phantom just for Michael Crawford.

I must add last night I fell asleep to "Evita."

I also agree that Colm's singing is soothing.
