Background on Tarzan stars?

(Apologize if this has been previously discussed)

I know that Jenn Gambatese has been in Hairspray, All Shook Up and Footloose, but this is Josh Strickland's Broadway Debut. Does anyone have any recordings or knowledge of Jenn's prior performances? Also, what to expect of Josh Strickland (I know he toured with Rent, but this is his New York debut).

Well, besides those two, the very talented Shuler Hensley will be in the cast. Hensley gave a terriffic performance as Jud Fry in the 2002 revival of "Oklahoma!" (also at the RNT several years ago) and won a Tony Award.

you've pretty much got what you need to know about Jenn and Josh right there. Josh was also on American Idol and Star Search, but I haven't been able to come across anything from there (trust me... i've looked... no shock haha).

i'm REALLY looking forward to Merle Dandridge too

Josh Strickland has been seen as Mark and Roger in the national tour of Rent. He was a national finalist on FOX-TV's "American Idol" and appeared on "Star Search 2004."

The only actor I'm interested in seeing in this is Shuler Hensley who was not only the best thing in the otherwise dreadful Oklahoma, but one of my favorite performers in Trailer Park. I am anxious to see him in Tarzan.

I thought Oklahoma!'s RNT production was better where it began, in London. It was much darker there. In American it turned hokey.

Josh Strickland was on the non-equity tour of RENT as a Roger/Mark cover... he is from Charleston, SC... He was on American Idol, got to go to Hollywood, but was eliminated fairly early in the process.

Me too! She has a gorgeous voice. I have mized feelings about this show (I'm an anti-Disney snob), but I'm sure I'll end up going to see it.
