It's been nine days since I was last at the show, Andrew Call's first to be precise. Wanted to give the boyz a little space and time to let Andrew settle in to this role that he was born to play. Great to see him tearing up the stage with his exhuberent and energetic delivery. Dare I say it, but not since Andy Karl have we seen a dancin' fool up there as Luke. Not to take away anything from James Royce Edwards who faithfully brought us a Luke we could wrap our arms around, this new incarnation is something we all wondered whether it could be pulled off.
I'm here to report that Andrew Call has performed his own little miracle up there, with classic comic timing, wonderfully strong vocals (yes, 'in the clearest voice we ever heard') and some new twists to some old schtick, the audience just ate him up.
LOL my friend made a PhonePost on LiveJournal and said that Andrew Call was in Altar Boyz. I had no idea who he is, and it sounds so much like "Andrew Karl", so I thought Andy was back. Stupid me, lol.
