I REALLY WANT to see this Production of Sweeney Todd, but at the earliest for me would be Spring Break in Mid March, and if not then the Summer(hopefully earlier than later in the summer).
How long do you think it will last on Broadway(I have NO idea how ticket sales are)and how long are Patti LuPone and Michael Ceveris going to stay in the show? If it may not make it until June or so, then I should try to go for Spring Break.
I believe it'll last until Tony time if not after. If I were to make a prediction, based on the fact that it's almost recouped its investment and that patti is renewing her contract, until winter 2007 (february)
I just asked her via personal website and this was the Q/A:
Hello Ms. Lupone, When will you be departing Sweeney Todd? There are rumors on broadwayworld.com that you will be leaving in June. I certainly hope not as I can't wait to see your post-Tony winning performance Thank you! Renee
Dear Renee, Thank you for your confidence in me. My contract is up in July but I will be negotiating to extend. Love, Patti
I believe that Vicki is playing the whole run of PIAZZA. However, her understudy will play Tuesday and Wednedsday night performances starting in late February.

February '07? That sucks much for me - chances are, the earliest I can get there would be summer '07! I'm not exactly expecting it to last 'til next summer, but I'm hoping with great enthusiasm.
