Christina lost me when she put her downstage arm up to hold the hat on the TONYS as she kicked away, That was either a BAD Choreographer or a BAD Dancer.

Christina said she was scared as hell for the Tony performance. She is tons better in the theatre. Her dancing in the theatre is quite impressive, she trained in dance for over 20 years, she can obviously dance. Her singing has gotten MUCH stronger. And her acting is absolutely perfect.
I'd love to see her do it, just once, to see if she could pull it off.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

Actually, I remember an announcement at the time that Jenna Elfman would go into Nine at a later date, after further preparation. She's probably just about ready around now...
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.
Elfman was the first in the long line of "name" actresses originally proposed for Charity (Marisa Tomei, Jane Krakowski, and-eventually-Christina). I believe she might have even done a workshop of it.
Actually I believe Melissa Errico Fan is right. In terms of the time line for this revival(let's try to forget Paula's intentions) Elfman was first. I remember reading about her getting vocal coaching from Cy Coleman personally.(I guess he saw a Charity in her) She must not have been progressing, because it sort of just never happened. Tomei came next, was announced for a workshop and a mini tour. She was used in the advertising for some of the out of town houses, and left before the workshop. She was then replaced by Krakowski.
