Kendra and some-other-people, I love hometown papers! I didn't know that Norbert Leo Butz is a Norbert Butz junior, that's cool. And I'm totally laughing at the thought that Glinda and Fiyero's dads know each other and play golf together and stuff. :)
I hope I don't seem as if I'm complaining. It's her hometown and she deserves to have a hearty midwest welcome... I'm more amused than anything because usually it's the show that's the focus. If these ran side by side then that makes more sense of why the 1st article didn't run times or prices.
No, it's cool. I wasn't trying to get St. Louis's back or anything. As towns go, it's kind of a bore and not really a theatre town. Everyone under the sun is going to Wicked, though.

Well I'm glad that this thread has introduced me to some of you guys who are seeing the show in Missouri. Don't be strangers to the boards cause we want to hear everything!
All righty. I'm not really the post a review thread type, but I'll share my thoughts (with you, at least) after I see it here. I saw Jenna Leigh Green's Elphaba when the tour was in Chicago.

That's OK... I'm not really a review type person either (ask Patronus who is still waiting for my City of Angels review, poor thing)
I'm actually most interested to get a feel of how each city is reacting to the show. In otherwords, I'd rather hear what the little old lady said in the bathroom at intermission than your thoughts on how certain notes were hit. Are the crowds big? A lot of people at the stage door? Things like that... Oh and pics are always fun! Legal ones, of course.
Well, if I go to the bathroom at the theatre and find a little old lady in there, I'm sure the conversation won't be on the show, as one of us would have made a wrong turn.

Ha..that's cute. I'm live about 3 hours from St Louis but it is the closest city for me to see a show. I'm seeing it the day before Thanksgiving. I've mostly seen shows in D.C. and San Diego/LA so this is something new, although I do agree..I've seen quite a few things on TV about the show. They have been running commercials for quite some time.
Jim Caruso: You know, you are doing Wicked.
Stephanie J Block: I am!
Jim: Is anyone coming to that old thing?
