Full disclosure off the top that I have not read through the entire thread. Sorry if these points were already made:
1) First off, my condolences to the cousin posting here, to the rest of his family, and his extended family of friends. Having just lost my best friend to suicide about three weeks ago I can now sadly say from experience that it a very specific and painful grief I can’t compare to any other loss I’ve suffered.
2) People don’t COMMIT suicide. It’s not like murder

He will have to work very hard to find the control, stability, and balance he seeks in populations and broken systems that often have none. As an MSW I welcome him to the profession and hope it fulfills him. If I can offer two words of unsolicited advice - SELF CARE!

I agree with the sound issues. Was horrible from 2nd row Mezz as well but that is to take nothing from the performers who all gave top notch performances. Pity, it really did make a huge difference in comparison to my other Color Purple experiences.

Can’t wait!! Lincoln Center podcast has a great interview with Stephanie talking about tonight’s concert.
My friends need to sell four (4) center orchestra tickets for this weekend's 3PM Sunday matinee of Disney's FROZEN on Broadway. Good matinee seats are basically impossible to come by for the next few months. They are happy to sell them at face value.
