Won the Denver Wicked lottery (again)!

So I won the Wicked tour lottery for the second time last night. One of my co-workers really wanted to see it so we gave it a whirl and it paid off! There were well over 200 people there this time so we really didn't think we had a chance...
So if anyone read my review from last weekend, you know that I liked the touring production, but it wasn't amazing.
Uncageg-I don't know if somehow the sound was changed or fixed, but it was MUCH better than last week. There were still some spoken parts that were inaudible, but overall, much improved.

Kendra totally won me over this time! She was by far the most hilarious Glinda ever. It's obvious that there are some adlibs here and there, but has anyone ever seen Glinda tackle Elphaba on the bed during Popular? It was so funny...and seemingly unplanned, as Stephanie couldn't stop laughing. It reminded me of the good ol' team of Idina and Kristen. Also, during Dancing Through Life, Kendra dropped her purse right before her and Fiyero sing to each other, so she had to start singing as she was bending over to pick it up and they both almost lost it.

I saw Glinda climb on top of Elphaba during Popular once. It was actually at what was supposed to be Idina's last show. Jennifer Laura Thompson could not get the pink flower to fasten to Shoshana's wig. She kept trying and then eventually she climbed on top of her. It was very funny. It was one of the things that cheered me up because I was so upset that Idina was out. But her coming out for the last scene was great!

Is Wicked going to have a lottery for all cities on the tour?

How was Steph? 200 people?!!! Wow...We were going to try this Sunday since the Broncos are playing. (Yes they play on Sunday!)

I am not positive about Wicked, but a lot of show have it in their contracts now that some forum of rush seating has to be available on the day of the show.

I love how both you and uncageg say "good but not amazing"... and yet you can't help but go back for more :) Something about that just makes me laugh quietly inside. And I'm glad you guys seem to be liking it more and more each time. So I think LeMerm is going closing night, anyone else?

Well I am not seeing it closing night, but the last Friday night show. Was telling Popular (and in another thread), the show last Friday, I had no problem with the sound at all, I was in front row Mezz. Also just to add to this post, Stephanie was amazing at the Bronco game Monday night. Started off a little shaky with the National Anthem, and really got into it, even held the last note fairly long. I will be posting pics from the stage door after Friday night show (posting on Monday). I will add, Wicked is the best touring shows Denver has had in quite awhile.

Popular - I only went once for lottery tix and that was to help 2 co-workers win. At 1st I was not going to see the show unless more than one of us won but decided that I wasn't going even if all 3 of us won. A friend wants to try this Sunday so if we win, I will see it. And the show was good....not amazing. On Broadway is was closer to amazing. This being because of the performances.
