Any Tennesseans?

Hey Guys,

This is a great website for Broadway Lovers. Instead of reading the dreading critic reviews, I can just view you guys' opinions on the show (even if the discussion can get a little heated, haha, I guess we are "dramatic" people).

Well anyways, I am a bit new and I was wondering if anyone on this board is from Tennessee or the southern surrounding areas. The art of Theatre isn't as big here as in the north so us southerns got to stick together, hehe. I guess we're a bit slow.

I work at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center here so I get to see a bunch of touring productions but I don't get to go to New York often. So if yall ever want to know how a tour is, just ask!

I lived in Nashville for about 5 years and while there, I studied acting with Ruth Sweet. She taught the Laban Method which I think was very inspired.

I'm not from Tennessee, but I live in Georgia.....Hey at least I'm still from the south, hahaha!!! I was born in California, but have lived down here for quite a while!

Holy crap! I was born in California too! I lived in the Orange County Area. Then I moved to Tennessee in 1990.

I live close to Nashville, about 30 minutes away in ole Murfreesboro and I attend Middle Tennessee State University which believe it or not has an amazing Theatre Department!

Well, if you can't make it to Broadway to see shows, come and say hi to me at T.P.A.C. for the tours. Full Monty is coming next and I can't wait to see it, since it is no longer on the Great White Way.
