OT-James Garner replaces Ritter in 8 SIMPLE Rules

I first heard this about 9 a.m. this morning. I gather Mr. Garner will be playing a grandfather charachter, but I am not sure.

I think this is most inspired and I wish everyone involved with the show a long and healthy run:)

Yes, he plays the Grandfather who comes to help his daughter and grandkids deal with the death of Ritter's character.. he is signed for four episodes.

The last episode was too sad! When they showed the clip of him at the end I lost it.

At the same time I am looking forward to see the season after it picks up again...
