She's sort of trying it out this week at the Hollywood Bowl. Of course she'll tour with it and hit Broadway in early 2004.

I have already seen Elaine Stritch and Bea Arthur in their one woman shows. Seeing Carol Channing do one would just be a lifetime memory.
There's just something so historic about seeing people who have been performing for so many years get up and talk about their careers, and still perform a few numbers.

Posted: 7/17/03 at 3:23pmIn its original concept, this show was supposed to be based on TGC's memoir, JUST LUCK I GUESS. TGC was supposed to tell stories and six singers would perform the songs from ths shows TGS was talking about. I don't know how much the format has changed.
