Anyone tried this and been successful? If so are the seats worth it, or would it be safer to book ahead and spend more $?

Hi,
I did the raffle in Dec. and we got tickets. They only draw six names (12 tix) so the chances are less than other shows. I would say the seats were fine and compared to the normal seats I had the first time I saw it the only difference is you dont get the full effect of the "Fantasies come true" scene.

I've tried several times....never won. It's the hardest show lottery to win. 6 names makes your chances very slim, but the show is worth paying full price, especially with a discount code.

Completley chickened out and bought a full-price seat in the rear mezz. In my opinion, this show just to good to take a chance...

I lost but i have already seen it once.
I love the show so much. Today on my way to see Wonderful Town i ran into the very talented Stephanie D' Abruzzo. She is incredible as Katemonster and Lucy D Slut. She is also very sweet.

I tried the lottery when I was there back in October and didn't win. My friend who lives in the city has done the lottery three times and won every time!! Some guys have all the luck:) He was nice enough to give me the tickets though so I was a happy camper. I would try doing the lottery. My friend says some days there aren't a lot of people there so your chances to win are better. If you don't win you should buy a ticket. That show was wonderful, I almost wet my pants!

It is wonderful and i will try again this week.
It is a brilliant show because of how creative it is.
It is not just a puppet show it is a show about life and it is smart, realistic and moving.
Everyone should see Avenue Q. As long as you are older then 13.
Your friend is lucky. I have one every other lottery but the show that i adore i lost.
It sucks to be me- well in this case.

I tried it right in the middle of the holiday season on a Saturday night and won 2 tickets! You can always try the lottery and then just buy tickets if you're not succesful. They usually don't completely sell out. I say go for it!

My friends have had better luck in the cold... so maybe hope the weather turns for the worse?

if you can't get in by winning the lottery try the cheap seats in the mezz. i think they were like 41.25 and the seats are still great. its a small mezz.

but way high up! i was surprised how high up the mezz was and i was in row B of the rear.
