Movies That Leave You with Chills...#0

What are the movies that have honestly and truly scared you where you almost couldn't sleep at night due to your overwhelming fright?

-The Silence of the Lambs
-Red Dragon- Anthony Hopkins period just gives me nightmares.
-The Ring (it wasnt just the fact that a creepy little girl was crawling out of your tv, it was also the way the movie was presented and the eerie background noises the 'tape' made ::chills::)
-From Hell
"They hear drums. We hear music."

I remember seeing Wait Until Dark in Radio City Music Hall. When Alan Arkin jumped up after her at the end, you heard 5000 plus people drop their cookies.

The Sixth Sense. This may sound weird, but when I can't fall asleep and it's late at night and completely silent, I can't help but think of this movie. It scares the shiznit outta me!
"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."

That's me with Jeeper Creepers haha. That movie overall sucked, but the creature was very gross looking and it gave me the creeps! I wouldnt want that thing near me. From Hell kept giving me nightmares- I dont know why. It wasnt even that scary. It was just the intensity and Jack the Ripper's shadow that scared me. Eeew and it was pretty gross that he ripped out womens' uterus'.

What is Rebecca about? I saw the mentioned above...
As much as they ruin my night sleep, I love horror flicks, but lately I've been seeing pretty bad ones.

-Cabin Fever (wow that really sucked except for the little boy yelling PANCAKES! That was brilliant!)
-Darkness Falls (I laughed through the whole thing and only jumped when a cat wandered across the screeen without warning)
-They (Wes Craven's worse film yet)
-Jeepers Creepers 2 (Even though the creature was freaky looking, the script was so bad that it was funny)

There are so many more I cant think of but these were highlights.

Oh and if you thought the Ring was scary, check out the Ringu. ::Shivers::

When Stangers Calls, an old 70's urban legend film, gave me chills and got my heart pumping. It has a good beginning and ending.
I also enjoyed Identity this year.

A brilliant little independent film called "Clean, Shaven" about a schizophrenic searching the country for his daughter. The movie manages to make the buttering of bread into a skin crawling experience. And watch out for the fingernail scene. Scary and sad.

For the REALLY disturbing, check out the documentary "The Lifestyle" about suburban swingers in middle America. You will never think orgies are hot ever again. Anyone seen it?

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing. ~ Muhammad Ali

Oh, and The Fog. From Hell wasn't frightening so much as it was disgusting and creepy. That's why I love it!
