Anyone see tonight's episode? (Paris) Loved it, and without adding spoilers, it looks like this will end the way I would like it to!

I am so sad the series is ending. They always set you up for something to happen and then they pull the rug out from under you, so we'll see.

Someone told me they filmed four different endings, so the cast won't even know which ending will be used until it airs. I am sad to see it ending, though. All the good shows are going away and there's nothing decent to replace them.

I am very sad i missed it last night but would have rather seen the Bears.
I hardly ever watch tv except for:
Sex and the City
American Theater Wing Seminars
Theater Talk
Onstage
So now i will have more time at the theater.

I feel the same way, but HBO is a genius. They end their shows while they're still good instead of waiting until they're hackneyed. Then they come up with more excellent programming. Remember OZ? My favorite! Their Angels in America was one of the best films I have ever seen, tv or elsewhere.

There's always Showtime.

I doubt she will ever leave NYC it is in her blood.
NYC is the greatest City on earth and Paris is wonderful but she loves NY so much.
Then again i would move anywhere Barishnikov wanted.
Talk about sexy men. WOO WOO.

Do you need to ask? Personally, I don't like QAF any more. The first season was quite interesting, but then it deteriorated into drivel. They even tried to experiment with artsy camera angles and shots, but thankfully abandonded the idea early in the season. I just think they're trying WAY too hard. It would be nice if they depicted one or two of the characters as people instead of stereotypes.

I totally agree with Matt about QAF, but I feel the same about SatC. The women are just so annoying. Not to mention the clothes!
PEACE.

Matt I agree about QAF. The first season was pretty good but thereafter the writing was so bad, so predictable and so stupid.
I would watch and find my rolling my eyes and thinking Gawd, how tedious. I think I just like to look at Brian.

That's funny. I've always found Brian to be the least attractive member of the cast. I could never understand why he was such hot property on the show. I think my favorite was Michael's first boyfriend. I can't remember his name, but he's the only one that I really liked. He also played Will's ex on Will and Grace.

QAF is a great show. Gale Harold and all.

Am I the only one who thinks they made a casting mistake with Barishnikov? He's so affected on the show and nearly "hobbit" like..it's leaving me cold, but love the other story arc's....

I can see the Baryshnikov thing. He's still quite attractive and they've made his character extremely appealing and romantic. I think I'm more confused at his attraction to her, especially in this last episode. She was such a dingbat with his daughter. But I do think she should end up with Big. I can understand why she was so harsh with him, but I can't see her being happy without NYC and without her trio.

*sigh*

I do enjoy a show that gets me so caught up in the characters that I actually care about them. I know how pathetic it seems, but it's fun. Now I'll just have Everwood...

Mister Matt-no, I do not need to ask. My question was slightly sarcastic, as I have not as yet seen anything worthwhile on Showtime. Comparing SATC to QAF is one thing, but comparing Showtime's programming in general to HBO's is not even possible. (:^)

I think I can come up with a good reason for casting Barishnykov. This way, we have an 'out' for Carrie. They're so mismatched, you can understand why the whole thing won't work out. If he were right for her, they'd have to stay together, and then where would 'BIG' fit in? LOL!

Jane2 - I'm still wincing from the BIG joke. LOL

RobbO - I agree with what you said about the British version except for the ending. I loved it until the very end and I HATED THAT PART SO MUCH! I thought it completely ruined the show. I have it on DVD and I'll watch it all except the final scene. It's much better that way.

Big is meant for her but so is Misha.
My god look at that man and he must be very flexible in bed being a primo dancer.
Ever see him in White Knights.
SO MUCH PASSION. He is one of the hottest men i have ever seen.
And i see him all the time around the City. He is a part owner of Russian Samovar if i am correct.
I also loved his modern "Push" Twyla and went to many of his performances. I wish he would still dance.
I loved to see him fly and leap in the air.
