I am a tourist about to visit NYC in the last weekend of April with my 2-year-old. I haven't been to Broadway in a long time and I really miss it.

I know seeing a Broadway show is not in the cards but I was wondering if anyone here has seen Gazillion Bubble Show or would recommend some other family friendly alternative? It would just be nice to get out and experience live theatre again.

It's cute enough...your 2 year old will love it!

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Looks like “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” will be playing this spring…

Gazillion Bubble Show would be fun for that age I think!

The New Victory does all kids shows (though the target age ranges depending on the show). They have something called Wink in late April. It looks pretty gentle so might work for your son's age. Or come back in May when Shakespeare's Stars is playing (which is specifically for the 3 and under set).
