To be fair, the Box Office for most Oscar bait movies tends to be low. Unless you are a Marvel film or daft blockbuster or a horror, you ain't making money.

Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna

Wow. The initial run of performances is sold out unless they are holding some tickets back for alter release.  Glad I snatched a seat early.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

Well, if nothing else, that is fantastic art for the show.

This is going to be a huge hit, mark my words. Never seen such a rapturous response to a first preview.

The best thing I’ve seen in years.

Cannot wait for more details! I’d be interested in finding out throughout its run how it compares to Prada, in the event anyone was able to see both.

Every post I see about this shouts out Katie Brayben specifically. Wonder if she could transfer with it?

The Almeida said on social that they've been able to accommodate everyone who has joined the Returns queue at the theatre. Just an FYI in case anyone wants to give it a try. Just show up an hour before the show. Here's a photo of the set.

Some comments on social said to "beg, borrow, steal" for a ticket and another said this was "more sophisticated and much funnier than Book of Mormon"... which I thought was funny considering Rannells. lol.

Here is the song list from the program. I saw the show on 10-21 and found it to be very entertaining.
Katie Brayben is absolutely thrilling. I was thoroughly impressed with her portrayal of Tammy Faye. Btw, for anyone who gets tickets the limited view seats are just fine you can see everything as it's a very small theater.Elton John & Jake Shears’ TAMMY FAYE to hit the West End this fall

It’s giving American Psycho with the set. I’d assume stuff tracks on and their are lifts and stuff.

Sorry about that! My three personal favorites were Empty Hands, He Promised Me, and If You Came to See Me Cry. If You Came to See Me Cry was very much the standout songs for me. Sets actually reminded me of a cross between American Psycho and the old Hollywood Squares game show. There is also a lot of movement throughout the audience too. If anyone has any more questions feel free to ask. Also, one last thing. I had called and spoke with the box office manager the morning of the show and he suggested to just continually check on their website all day about every 15 minutes. I was able to get my two tickets at 4:00pm and after that about two seats went on sale every hour or so...and this was on a Friday night.

Wait, I'm sorry. Tammy Faye's still relevant?

I mean, her story has definitely had a resurgence recently, and she’ll always be a camp icon (the poster for this production made me think it was Hedwig at first glance).

But I am curious if this musical does anything different than the movie and documentary, which pretty much covered all the bases of her story.
