Watching Larry King Live right now with guest Kathie Lee Gifford. Apparently, she could be the next morning talk show hostess to with a musical. She told Larry she's written (book, music, lyrics) two musicals - one of which is premiering in Dallas in the fall with the hopes of bringing it to Broadway. Her first musical is entitled "Hurricane Aimee" - based on the life of Aimee Semple McPherson. She also said her first choice to play the lead was Christine Ebersole, who turned it down due to other commitments. So the new leading lady is...Carolee Carmello! Kathie Lee was very serious about this. She even mentioned that the Nederlanders were involved.

It's true. She's been working on it for a while now.

Kathie Lee should replace Kristin. It would bring back the evil that part currently lacks, and needs.

I know someone who was involved in a workshop of the Kathy Lee musical. So yeah... it's a fact.

Why does everyone hate her so much?
I actually love the David Friedman song she did about her father called "Make Your Own Music"

and I heard she was pretty good in Putting It Together.

Kathie Lee was closely linked with Anita Bryant (was her assistant, a backup singer and supporter) during Anita's harmful anti-Gay crusade in the late 70s. As recently as three years ago, Kathie pushed Anita on Good Morning America. Kathie will say or do anything to promote herself. This can be verified on the web by typing in Kathie Lee and Anita's names. They are closely linked. When Kathie was involved with Putting It Together, she became the friend of many influential gay people--gee, wonder if it had anything to do with the composer??? I want to hear Kathie explain her position regarding Anita Bryant. Many people suffered because of their anti-gay (Save The Children)campaign. We dont forget, even if we forgive. Kathie Lee= 60% her own God Given skin; 40% somebody else

Gives new meaning to the saying "Who are you wearing?"

At least she won't have any problems getting costumes made at a low price.

Kathie Lee is vile. It reminds me of a Murphy Brown episode years ago where they were Candace Bergin was spoofing her in a dream sequence. She referred to the show as "Regis and Murphy Me"!!!
