They aren't Broadway, but his album of standards with k.d. Lang is incredible. Their voices blend together so well that it is so warm and makes for a great album.

Sadly, I had tickets to see Tony Bennett in May 2020, and now I worry that I may have lost my chance.

I was so sad to see the news of his Alzheimer’s diagnosis yesterday, but in true Bennett fashion his “Life is a gift, even with Alzheimer’s” reminded me again of why he is so beloved. His Mr. Broadway album has long been one of my favorites and his version of The Party’s Over I find to be among the best!

My parents gave me a record player for my eighth birthday in 1955, and one of my older brothers gave me this recording of Tony singing "Rags to Riches".  I used to play it over and over in my bedroom, and it still remains my favorite Tony Bennett song.

I'm thinking of you, Tony.
