Hey folks,

Big Cerveris fan here. I recently became fascinated with the Sam Shepard play "The Tooth of Crime", specifically the 1986 production at Hartford  Stage Company starring Michael Cerveris and David Patrick Kelly.

I can't find more than 3 photos, the NY Times review and no audio/video from this production. Is there anything out there I'm missing?

This is for a friend I made during lockdown, we've become very close during the past 9 months and she is a HUGE fan of actor David Patrick Kelly. My google-fu has turned up nothing but if you have anything PM me, I know it would make her smile.

Hi - Cerveris acolyte here as well.
I have been searching for remnants of this production for several years now, and have never found anything beyond the photos you describe, and the review.
I am fairly convinced Hartford has a bit more (at least the unreleased negatives), but whatever they might have is not publically available.
Wishing you and your friend the best.

Hey, nice to meet you. Well, all at once it's nice to know someone else is looking and discouraging to know that you haven't had much luck either. I feel like that Hartford DOES have more, there was a new score written for that production and they've probably got that music in their archives somewhere, we just have no way to see it. It's odd they don't even have any photos of productions that far back on their website. (I worked at a little Podunk theater in 2009 and they had photos up ON THEIR WALL dating back to 1978 but there you are.) If you ever do find anything, you know how to reach me. Thanks.
