agree with the "Rockwell and Fishburne were enough for me" thoughts.  Rockwell was the best thing about Behanding, and was amazing in Fool For Love.

I just hope this isn't another one of Mamet's 65 minute plays.

It's performed with an intermission, so I doubt it

I saw it in the early 1980s when it was revived on Broadway with Al Pacino. I'm not a Mamet fanboy, but it's a good play and an excellent example of the playwright's "poetry of profanity". If I lived in NYC, I'd go see it with the announced cast.

Interesting.

The Cynic in me says that just means 2 25 minute acts, wtih a 15 minute intermission to get to that 65 minute length.  But perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised.  Thanks for doing the legwork.

This is a revival of a well-known Mamet play. I don’t recall hearing that this is one of his shorter plays.

I think the running time is close to 90 minutes.  I've always liked this play, for me it's right up there with "Speed the Plow", "Glengarry" and "Oleanna" (I wonder how "Oleanna" would play today).  If these three actors- Criss, Fishburne and Rockwell, are at the top of their game, this is gonna be a must-see.

The Steppenwolf production from a decade ago listed its run-time at an hour and forty minutes, including intermission. The pacing might / will vary under Neil Pepe than how Amy Morton staged it then, but it is likely to remain around 90 minutes.
