I do wonder if they'll add another Tina standby/understudy shortly. Warren is on vacation next week, so if something happens to Nkeki or Kayla, they'll be down another Tina.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I did notice that Leandra Ellis-Gaston was added as a TINA understudy. She was on for another role last Tuesday. So if Kayla was out, they would’ve had to cancel Act 2. Kayla did go on both shows Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening, plus the matinees yesterday and today!
I will not be surprised to see a standby being hired shortly, if not already. We shall see!

Leandra has typically gone into Kayla's track when she's Tina.

On Tuesday Leandra was for Aileen/Ikette #4 and when Kayla was announced to go on as Tina Act 2, Alyssa Shorte went into her track! It was a great Act 2

Adrienne was in on Friday evening.

The schedule for this week was Nkeki on for Tuesday, Wednesday evenings and Saturday and Sunday matinees. They had a different performance schedule this week due to the holiday weekend. They canceled the Wednesday matinee and added a Sunday evening. Warren was still scheduled for Thursday - Saturday evening and the Sunday evening as well. Kayla went on for the scheduled performances Nkeki was due to perform this week.

You are correct that’s exactly what the playbill said. I apologize I was wrong about Friday, Adrienne was there. I was wondering why they were having a Sunday evening. Makes sense.
This was the second time I saw Kayla go on midshow. On 1/7 after “River Deep, Mountain High” Nkeki ran off the stage during the applause and the show stopped for 20 minutes. Kayla was announced and killed it.

Slight correction on my part, they had a Wednesday matinee this week and canceled the Wednesday evening.

got to see her last night and the show was amazing. Everyone in my section was raving about Adrienne. She really is great in it, it was nice to see genuine happiness in the theater. I don't think i've seen a show where people were grinning so much. Looked around and could just see large smiles everywhere. Highly recommend checking this out with Adrienne if possible.

Saw this Saturday night via standing room ($30 - and you miss nothing, an absolute steal) and agree that seeing this for Adrienne is worth it. I just can’t imagine seeing this without her and getting anything out of the piece as a whole - it’s music jukebox biopic 101. Even for a Saturday night, my audience wasn’t going nuts over it...but they loved her.
