I really, really wanted to like this. And it does have a few moments just shy of great. Some of the music is gorgeous! But, save for Parisa Shahmir, the story as told at last night's performance was dull and uninteresting. I will return at the end of the run, hopeful.

I have tix for near the end of the run, feeling hopeful.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I ushered for it Saturday. I didn’t know much about situation it was based on so thought it would be more upbeat but it reflected historical events so got very dark at end.
