Could they just mic the show like you'd mic a play? With hanging instruments instead of people wearing mics?

I sat front row at St. Ann's and the actors appeared to have discreetly hid mics. The actors just had minimal amplification. I'm sure they'll turn up the volume for Broadway.

Is the Website down right now? Or is it actually sold out?

I suspect this is more Telecharge on-sale date horsecrap. I refuse to believe every date I try is sold out.

Audience Rewards presale tickets are sold through Telecharge Offers. Use codes OKAUDREG, OKAUDMID, or OKAUDPRM for the different price levels.

I've never had to do that before on an AR presale. I linked through the Audience Rewards site and there's nowhere to enter a code.

If you go through the Audience Rewards website, it will redirect you to Telecharge Offers with the offer already entered. If you want to bypass the middleman, you can enter the code manually.

That's what I did and it's telling me that every date is sold out. I suspect that once again, Telecharge is not ready.

Also, as of right now, the presale isn't even active on the Audience Rewards website. I just guessed at the Telecharge Offers codes since they're always simple variations, and they all work.

I ended up being able to get tickets through the "Oklahoma!" Website. They had an option to click on for Audience Rewards. Row G, Sadly, I couldn't get front row because it was all gone.

The presale that's showing up on the Audience Rewards website right now is the American Express presale, which ended at 9:59am, and is no longer active. That's why there's no availability when you try to link through them.

Going through the show's site worked. It pulls up a Telecharge page with the Audience Rewards presale option for seating that the AR page itself doesn't link to.

Going through the show's official website only gives you the regularly-priced options, it won't show the premium or mid-premium seats, since there are 3 different offers. If you want the other 2, the codes have to be entered manually, or else you'll have to go through the Audience Rewards website, which has the offers active now.

Does anyone think that they are going to keep everyone from the St. Anns run? I could definitely see them bringing in bigger names like Phillipa Soo as Laurie and Joshua Henry as Curly. Although, I would love to see Damon as Curly.

Oh! and Audra McDonald as Aunt Eller.

Soo and Henry are not 'names'. They certainly would not replace the existing cast with people like this because of any perceived stardom (there is none).

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

Soo is not a name. She didn't sell tickets for Amelie and beyond Hamilton, I've found her somewhat boring to watch. I have no desire to see Henry chew the scenery in another Rogers and Hammerstein show and I have don't understand why Audra would accept a nearly non-singing, minor role that's written for an actress about ten years older than her.

Also, the original cast of this production was perfect.

No, it really doesn't,  Ask Oak Onaodowan.

If you're already dreamcasting this production with actors who have more "classic" singing voices, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed. This interpretation is extremely revisionist, and it would be doing the show a disservice to open it with anyone other than the original cast.

I never said I disliked the original cast, in fact, I'm very excited to see them. I was just curious if any of them were going to be replaced.

I'm incredibly excited for this new production and really ecstatic to see the changes Daniel Fish made. I was just wondering if they were going to bring in anyone else in. I would prefer them to keep original cast though.
