I just watched their season finale, where Susan Haskins announced that the show would no longer be taped in the CUNYTV studios. Anyone know where they are moving to next year? Are they switching channels as well?
She made it sound like they are definitely continuing, just not with CUNY, so maybe it will still air on PBS/Youtube. Or maybe it could become a podcast or get picked up by a site like BWW or Playbill?
Riedel really was what made that show, though. Jesse Green is a great critic and an intelligent man, but he doesn't engage the guests in the way that Riedel did. (But Green also doesn't say rude/offensive things to the guests!!)
I think Susan Haskins is doing a great job. She has recruited some interesting cohorts, and it seems to me she tries to pick the best cohost for that particular interview. I hope the show continues.
