Has anyone seen the show lately that would be willing to share their thoughts on the current cast? I haven't seen the show since Hugh Panaro and Sandra Joseph were the leads, and was thinking of revisiting it soon. Does anyone have any info regarding when the alternate Christine is on?

Haven't seen the show lately but I did see them perform at Bryant Park last week. Thought the new Christine wasnt that good at all and the Phantom and Raul were just ok. I just didn't like her voice. I actually wanted to get tickets for the show soon, but I think I'll wait till they change the cast, at least the girl playing Christine.

I do believe that the Phantom in Bryant Park was actually Mr. Andre. Also it could be a long wait for that cast change as the current Christine just started. I believe James contract ends around February unless he extends again.
Christine alternate schedule keeps changing. Usually she is on Mondays and another day but I can't remember which.

RE: Phantom in Bryant Park. Yes, that was Laird Mackintosh who sang the role of the Phantom. James Barbour, who IMHO is the best Phantom I've ever seen, could not do the concert due to Phantom having a Thursday matinee.
RE: Christine alternate schedule. I believe that it's Monday and Saturday matinee. I saw the alternate, Rachel Eskenazi-Gold, and she was superb!!

I saw the show two weeks ago after winning the lotto. Thought the current cast was fantastic, and yes Barbour is divine. I believe the Playbill mentioned when the alt Christine was on, but I’ll have to check when I get home from work and let you know.
