Wonderland and In Transit are still 2 of my fav shows of all time. I knew they were short lived, but I actually just had to go look up how short. Didn't realize they were both only about a month. Surprised no one has said "Holler If Ya Hear Me" yet.
Great TDF seats last night at Broadway Bounty Hunter! Orchestra left, row B. A lot of action takes place in the aisles so they were perfect seats.

Has anyone who saw it at Barrington able to shed light on how they tackle the genre? Is it offensive in any way? Is it made aware that its an all-white production using the genre?I'm anticipating cultural backlash with this Off-Broadway run, but I haven't seen the show so I
Yeaaasssss! I watch this video every week, wishing this would come true one day.

Sad to see it go, was really hoping we'd get that cast album before it left. Yes the music wasn't amazing but I really did like that one song, scream for the money.

I was hoping they would somehow add Eva's part from Wait for me. I think When she sings it, it sounds much stronger.
Tootsie Lottery May 28

Won for tonight and got orchestra D16 all the way on the right. How many lottery tickets do they give out? Cuz it looked like it was about 100 people in the line waiting to get their lottery tickets. They had a separate line for the lottery winners to pick up their tickets.
I've actually kind of been waiting on this too. Although the majority of the music wasn't that great, I did like Scream for the Money. There's a bootleg of the song on youtube but I'd prefer a professional recording. Towards the beginning of the run, a lot of people were tweeting to the show asking about the recording and they just kept saying stay tuned. At this point, it's probably not happening but I hope I'm wrong.
Great seats last night to Hadestown, Orchestra P6. I'm glad I took a chance on this after reading all the reviews. I listened to the cast recording beforehand and I was not impressed but this was much better in person.
Saw a new musical on TDF today, The Big Bang Theory: A Pop-Rock Musical Parody. Anyone heard anything about this? Or know of any promo videos? I'm slightly interested in going but would love to hear some samples of the music if it's anywhere out there.
Comedically Misheard Lyrics Feb 18

So in honor of tonight's Scarlet Pimpernel concert, I've been playing the cast recording on repeat and realized in the song "The Riddle", I've been singing, "through the mist, your blubber is beckoning". The correct lyric is "through the mist, your lover is beckoning".
I've never questioned that blubber wasn't correct until now.
