So Laura Osnes is just incredible. I wondered if any of you have any ideas who she could play next? Thinking outside the box, we all know she makes a fantastic princess. So any other versatile roles you would love to see her play?
*Ado Annie or Laurey in Oklahoma! *Sarah Brown in Guys & Dolls *Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady *Rosemary in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying *Katherine Plummer in Newsies *Louise in Gypsy *Ellen in Miss Siagon *Brenda Strong in Catch Me If You Can
Until I saw her in Threepenny Opera this week, I had a much more narrow idea of what she could do. The girl really is good! I still remember how her reaction to finding that the kids were actually Emile's in South Pacific made the hair stand up on my arms! And I was so sorry that Bonnie and Clyde just wasn't a better show. She was the best thing in it.
I have liked her in everything I've seen her do (even "Grease"-not ashamed to say I saw it). I preferred her Nellie to O'Hara's. I would love, love, love to see her take on Gypsy Rose Lee-that is inspired casting.
.Katharine in "Newsies" .Louise in "Gypsy" .Veronica in "Heathers" .Maria in "The Sound of Music" .Glinda in "Wicked" .Miss Honey in "Matilda" .Elle Woods in "Legally Blonde" .Chris in "Carrie" .Wednesday in "The Addams Family"

She herself has said her dream role is Marian the Librarian in "The Music Man". That would be a fun one to see her do. I honestly ADORE her in anything and think she is the sweetest person. I've been fortunate enough to see her in "Grease", "South Pacific" and "Cinderella" and would love to see her in more shows. Oh, and her solo CD's are off the wall great too ;---)
