What Jennifer Hudson looks like is a star, plain and simple. What a force of nature.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
still curious as anything to find out what they're going to do with Ivy?? Will she be in the show or not?? Karen's standby??

There was a photo posted on here of filming at a Broadway theatre with the Bombshell poster. It showed who was directing and who is starring as Marilyn.
Does the Bombshell number where Katharine McPhee is in a yellow dress remind anyone else of the Catch Me If You Can "Jet Set" number set design or is it just me?
now the key is, can the season begin to live up to the trailer, bc that trailer was pretty awesome...i'm super excited to see what they do with Daniel Sunjata & Jesse L Martin's characters, please please don't put them in a love triangle w/ Debra Messing's character though!! and Jeremy sounds fantastic
with GLEE"s ratings way down (they were at 5.2 million viewers last week) i wonder how this show will do. Part of me feels like america is done with musical theater on TV for a while.
I think if this is promoted right the show could get its footing back. I think with so many "stars" hitting the talk show circuit, etc. it might draw people in.
Still too much of Karen in that promo for my taste. But I'll give it a chance to show me it's changed from last year. The musical numbers do look like they'll continue to be the best part of the show.
