How do you know if the stars are going to make an appearance outside after the show? If it helps, my family and I are going to catch BOM at the Pantages Friday night. Thanks for the feedback!

My biggest pet peeve right now is when people pronounce it "Marry-us" and not "Mah-ree-us".

In all honestly...you don't. Some may come out the stage door and sign, some may come out the stage door and leave quickly...some may stay until the mass crowd of fans are gone...for a show like BOM, I am sure the stage door will be pretty busy for a touring show...Even for WICKED the stage doors are not THAT busy...

BoM has a very orderly stage door with a barricade, both on tour and on Broadway.

I agree with Sinfonian, you never know. If a performer threw up right after the curtain call, she/he probably will not stop to sign. Sometimes they are just tired and will not sign, and some are very nice and are open to signing, photos, and short convos. He is also right about WICKED. I saw it on a Saturday evening, and stage dorred afterwards. There were maybe 10-15 people tops. But BOM is hugely popular right now, and the stage door likeley will be extremely crowded. Especially on a Friday. And it doesn't help that you are in LA.

Theatre is my life. No one can take that away from me.

A lot of times, the people who work security at the doors can make a pretty good guess. However, you have to ask once you're there after the show. So, in all honesty, you never truly known until everyone has come out and left.

For what it's worth, Gavin Creel is really nice and typically comes out after evening performances (or did on Broadway in Hair when I saw it). I can't guarantee anything, obviously, just posting my experience.

Stage door at the Pantages is very orderly. They have a barricade up. It's in a gated area too. Best way to get out there is use the doors to the far right(left if you are leaving the theatre). They take you right to them. After Wicked I just got outside when Katie Rose came running down the ramp to sign.
