I remember reading her autobiography. In it, she discussed how she deals with Meniere's. This accident doesn't help things. from RC in Austin, Texas

She still managed to shoot her scenes, though on percocet. She said percocet was the greatest thing ever invented, and that she thought she had done some of her best acting while medicated.

I hope she's alright, every news story says a different thing, there's one saying she cracked her skull(too lazy to get the link).
And how often does lighting equipment drop? (it's just hard for me to fathom how big budget tv studio/lot with top notch equipment and a veteran production crew could accidentally drop a dangerous piece of heavy lighting equipment on an actors head.)

Jules -- Would it be better if someone dropped on PURPOSE? Accidents happen. And they can happen anywhere.
All the reports I've seen said she's being treated for MINOR injuries. And it sounds like the light knocked her over, but the FALL is how she hit her head.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

AND....now on the news, it just mentioned her: they made it sound as if the lighting equipment DID hit her in the head, and that she suffered a siezure. They reported her in stable condition.
I'm guessing the siezure may have happened during the hospital stay since this is the first I've heard of it. This is not terribly uncommon with a head injury -- but still, frightening, I'm sure.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Posted: 7/12/12 at 8:34amThe report I read said "While filming a scene for 'The Good Wife' in Brooklyn, a gust of wind blew a lighting silk out of place striking actress Kristin Chenoweth". That sounds quite a bit different than a "piece of heavy lighting equipment" falling on her head. Still even a lighting silk can be serious.

She does think that. Before a performance of WICKED, she took some Viocodin (if I spelled that right). She got all doped up. "No One Mourns the Wicked" sucked, but after that, several friends told her it was one her best performances ever.
