I am thinking of buying the cast recording, as very curious to hear what the show sounds like, the title just grabs and make me curious to hear the show, of tke legendary musical by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricuisse, which took Broadway by storm in the first wave of British musicals.

However I am unsure what recording to get, so wondering if you guys can help me?

Its by no means the happy little show you may think it is from its title. The Broadway one is the recording to get.

It's just downright weird, as well. Though I do enjoy "Mumbo Jumbo".
