I'm sorry, WHAT high school does Gypsy as their winter musical and Company as their spring one??
In any case, bravo sweetheart. I CERTAINLY had my doubts, but this girl kind of knocks it out of the park again. Fingers crossed next fall that they do Next to Normal
Am I the only one who doesn't get all the hullabaloo? First of all, she really doesn't sound that good in this video (though she did sound decent in the Gypsy video). That being said, she copies Barbara Walsh's idiosyncrasies for at least the second half of the song if not the whole thing (which in itself is a terrible idea since Walsh was awful in the role). To be a good performer, you need to be able to come up with your own choices.
A high school doing Company? What do high school kids know about marriage and relationships?
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
THIS HIGH SCHOOL NEEDS TO COME UP WITH THEIR OWN F*CKING IDEAS. JESUS. I KNEW THE SECOND I OPENED THE VIDEO THEY WOULD COPY THE REVIVAL'S ENDING OF THE SONG.
SORRY FOR THE CAPS. BUT IT JUST MAKES ME MAD. I DON'T GIVE A SH*T THAT IT'S A HIGH SCHOOL. YOU CAN STILL COME UP WITH ORIGINAL IDEAS IN HIGH SCHOOL.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I thought I read that she was going to Ithaca next fall.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

"What did Len Cairou know about slicing people's throats?"
He didn't need to know anything about slicing people's throats. All he needed to know was how to shave badly.

you're point? Did I forget to put a comma oh I'm sorry I must be a really dumb, and not do anything in life, I never knew it mattered on a Broadway message board.
"You are" point? Jeez, you really aren't making a valid argument for those of us still stuck in high school, are you?

Yay! You learned how to use the correct form of you're!
By the way, by telling others "shut up you make teens and people in high school sound like we're all clueless and dumb," you are merely reinforcing the aforementioned argument.
