There might already be a thread on this, if there is give me the link lol, but I was wondering what actors accept requests from fans or reply to messages on facebook. Or if you know of any fake accounts for any actors, or what your opinion on contacting actors through facebook is.
Based on your questions, I REALLY don't think this thread is entirely appropriate.
Into the Woods, Beauty and the Beast, RENT, Mamma Mia!, Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde, Evita (with Julia Murney), Hairspray (with Paul Vogt), Peter and the Starcatchers (with Christian Borle), Lion King, Altar Boyz, Legally Blonde (with Lauren Zackrin).
You want a list of every actor who accepts fans? What if you're not a fan of that actor? Wouldn't it be easier to search for someone you are a fan of and try it yourself?
The way you've phrased it makes it sound like you just want to contact whatever actor will respond, which is weird.

Well, for starters, they want to know which actors have fake facebooks. How is THAT appropriate? Secondly, they want a list of actor's facebooks? Whether or not they accept fans, that's an invasion of privacy.

omg no! I'm not going to go friending and messaging EVERY actor that has a facebook and accepts fans! And I'm not sure I get why my questions were inappropriate - asking people for their opinon?
If I want to friend an actor, or message them I don't want to be intruding on their privacy, or annoying them in any way. So it would be nice for other people to give their experiences on who is happy and okay with fans being on their personal facebooks, and who is not. I don't expect a list of EVERY actor who accepts fans! Sorry if I phrased it wrong...I just figured maybe there were other people in my position that may appreciate the thread....
I agree with others in saying, just do the work. Look for profiles of actors you are interested in. Fakes are pretty easy to spot. If you send them a message or a friend request and they don't respond, consider that your answer. I don't think you're being inappropriate, but it seems rather matter of fact.
You can also send actors a message asking if they accept fans as friends. Some politely say they do not, while many do.
Just do the work. It's lame to infer that posters start listing them.

No, it's not. It's just an aggregation of what's already out there. If someone comes up in a facebook search, they're obviously not private. How much of their info they choose to share -- THAT'S private. Someone passing around a FB photo that is enabled to a small group of people would be invasion of privacy.
In your opinion it's not. I think it's inappropriate.

A lot of actors have a personal profile that they keep private, and a fan page for their fans to get updates. The best way you're going to find them is to search.

Depending on how "popular" they are, they may have regular profiles like you and I, or they may have Fan pages. I believe one of them made a fan page because facebook would not allow them to have anymore friends (5,000) Just search. It can't hurt. I sent Jill Paice and Gavin Creel a message and they could not have been any nicer with their responses.

Facebook does have a limit on how many friends you can have - lame. That's why Alice Ripely had two that is run by her and her assistant.
Also, I friend requested Karen Olivo and Merele Dandridge , but they denied it so I added their fan pages. Merle sent me a message asking me to join and I asked her if she have a PO Box for fanmail, but no responce back yet.
^I stumbled upon one by accident and it kind of startled me.
The only actors I'm friends with on Facebook are ones I've met in real life and spent time with away from the stagedoor. I don't need all of Broadway knowing I found a stray cow on my farm.

Just had a talk with my friend who is on the Legally Blonde tour who said that she and all her friends have facebook set to private for pretty much every fan. That way fans think they are "nice" but they don't need to share any info with them.
