I'm really enjoying this trend of general rush policies.

Usually when it says "subject to availability," there's no set location.

Does anyone want one TDF ticket to tonight's first preview? Don't think I am going to be able to make it into the city.

What time are people lining up for this on Saturdays? I'm hoping to do it the 27th, and trying to see how early I need to get there. And yes, I'm aware today was their first Saturday performance, so I guess I'm asking about today.

Is it front row, or are they giving away whatever is left?

I went last night at around 5 and I couldn't get a rush ticket. The box office guy was extremely rude by the way. I'm going again today before it opens.

So after getting a rush ticket for today I got sick about 20 minutes after. I couldn't go to the show (because I couldn't even stand up). I went to the Box Office and asked if I could get my money back and they said no which I expected. I'm hoping to go back next week and maybe see if I can exchange it (again I am expecting the answer to be no but it's worth a shot). I'm just glad it was only 26.50. I'm really sad I didn't get to go.

Bummer D C R, hope you feel better, I almost left myself, got a darn toothache, stayed but was in miserable pain, did not stop me from laughing though especially the second act.

I got there at 11:30, no one was there so I walked around a little bit. Then I got back at 11:45 and 2 people were there in front of me. Then at 11:59 I realized I didn't have enough money so ran to Duane Reade and got money and ran back and got my ticket by 12:05. It was seat B3 in the orchestra.

Thanks. I've never rushed or dealt with any Broadway box offices before so I wasn't sure.

Bump.
Planning to try rush tomorrow. For those who have done it lately, at what time should one arrive at the box office? If I got there right around 10, would I be safe? Also, has anyone figured out if it is cash only or not? Thanks in advance!

Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. I went to ask the box office about rush last Sat and they still had some at 10:30am so I think it's still relatively easy at this point. (Granted, Sat has 2 shows)

On a whim, I stopped by the box office shortly after the matinee began and got a rush ticket for tonight. I laughed my ass off. Bartha has some serious stage chops, Shaloub is delectable, Maxwell will earn yet another Tony nomination (and possibly win), and LaPaglia makes a lot out of what's not a particularly great role. The comic timing is flawless. I really applaud Stanley Tucci for producing such a tight ensemble piece. In short, go go go.

Got rush tickets today at about 10:15-10:20.

My seats were Orchestra Row B seats 8-10 for tonight's show. Fantastic seats. My friend and I laughed our asses off for the whole show. I highly recommend this one. Fantastic performances are given by each and every cast member. Stanley Tucci has pulled off a masterpiece in my opinion. This was one of the best night's I've had in the theater.

What an awesome rush! Got there at like 10:05 this morning and we got A 6&8 for the matinee.

What a great play and production! I really enjoyed myself. The cast was uniformly excellent. The three male leads were just absolutely superb.
I know this is probably sacrileges, but I enjoyed Thompson more than Maxwell out of the females. They were all great though.
I highly recommend this show. I smell a bunch of Tony nominations.

Does anyone know how the rush has been on Saturday matinee's? I was planning on doing it this Saturday, but I'm not sure if it will be more crowded since it has opened.

Also, who usually comes out after the show?

Thanks for any info!
