So, I'm thinking of going to see Billy Elliot. To anyone who saw it, where did you sit and how did you like your seats? Anyone have any suggestions as to what seats, if any, provide the best view of the stage? Thanks.
I did cancellation line with my dad. We waited for hours and were at the front of the line a minute before curtain. Because they had not sold all of the premium seats for the performance, they sold them to us at Orchestra seating prices and we made it just in time for curtain. Great seats-4th row center orchestra. The view was great from there, but I can imagine anywhere in the orchestra would be good.
I HATE the Imperial. I am 5 feet tall and I had ZERO leg room. I could see everything fine, but man, I do not know how people who are not vertically challenged can sit in those seats...

I am 6'4" and sat in the Front Mezz. last year, as there were no Aisle seats available in the orchestra. I suggested to the women below me that I might have to drape my legs over her shoulders--she laughed that at least she would be warmer. Great visual and sound though!
How are the partial view seats? And how much do you miss. I see they have partial view Orchestra off to the sides and partial view Mezz off to the sides, any one section better then the other?
I sat in one of the partial view mezz seats last night and the view was fantastic...I was in the front row of the mezzanine in the last seat of the row on the right side. The only thing you miss is a few seconds of the dream ballet and a few seconds of Electricity, plus some of the entrances and exits from that side. Overall though it was a great seat and it was only $41.50...I would definitely sit there again.
Is there any logic to the Imperial's ticket pricing? The partial view seats are $41.50 on some days, but $61.50 or $81.50 on other days. This Tuesday, they cost $41.50. Next Tuesday, they cost $81.50. Next Thursday, they cost $61.50. Wtf?
