I think last week showed that this show could be really good (minus some bad script choices). But, I thought it felt like a real show and not a scripted karaoke comedy. Too bad it went back to it's old ways in yesterday's episode.

I must say I was surprised at Idina's performances with Lea Michele. I was expecting Lea Michele to wipe the floor, as i've got used to how amazing she is over the past few years, but in the last two Glee's and some terrific singing from Menzel, I was reminded why she is a true Broadway legend.

I would be happy to see Michele or Menzel as Fanny Brice.

I hate how Finn was made out to be the bad guy when what Kurt was doing was just plain creepy. And I'd say that if it were a girl chasing after Finn too.

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

"If Entertainment Weekly were a living thing with lips, we'd never see them because they'd be nineteen inches up Glee's urethra. It seems every issue of the magazine, when it isn't riding the precocious and blatantly ignorant ass of the Twilight machine, is in a tent ****ing Glee gently in the fanny. All Glee, all the time."

I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

Wow, did this "Rocky Horror" themed episode ever fall flat. As directed by Adam Shankman, the weepiest man on TV, the songs, staging and scene work were mediocre at best.

Wow. I was hoping Glee might somehow redeem themselves with this episode, even with the absurd lyric changes, the idiotic casting, etc. But they achieved the impossible; they sucked all the fun out of Rocky Horror. They should be ashamed.

Also, it's sad that after less than a season and a half, Sue Sylvester has become such an inane, pointless character; she's with them, she's against them, she's with them, she's against them. Lazy, sloppy, just plain bad writing.

tonight's episode was lackluster. easily the worst so far this season, which imo, has been much stronger than the second half of last.

I just think that it's a mistake for any show to have a 22 hour season. That's soooo much time to fill.

Yawn. People who hate GLEE this much I find suspect in a lot of ways...

Adam Shankman directed this episode? Makes me nervous for Rock of Ages...

Also: I'm starting to have a real problem with how Amber Riley (Mercedes) is delivering her songs lately. Her numbers in the Glee and Kurt's Dad episodes were nicely sung, but emotionally flat. She really needs to be directed to give a little more "umph" to her songs.

I agree that casting Mercedes as Frank-n-Furter was bizarre but I actually quite liked this week's episode. The musical numbers were fun and different and the Rent joke made it for me. However Mr Schue's starting to get too obsessed with Emma and not that likeable anymore.

Holbee: Since when does criticism equal HATE? If they hated the show, they wouldn't be watching it, for the most part. What is suspect about people that don't care for a show, anyway? I doubt there is any mental flaws causing a person to dislike a show.

I am NOT a fan of the show, but I did mean to catch this episode since Rocky Horror holds a sweet place in my heart...but I forgot to set my dvr. Now I'm not as bummed about it.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I still don't think Amber Riley should've been Frank N Furter, but the episode itself was well done, I thought. I wish Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf had more to do with it, but it was a fun suprise having them in the episode. And I do agree, Wil is becoming too obsessed with Emma. I was acutally on Carl's side for most of the episode.
