Also, there was an episode of The Ensemblist that listed the Beautiful tour among John Michael Dias' credits, but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else. I assume he'd be in the Neil Sedaka track?
"This thread reads like a series of White House memos." — Mister Matt
That would make sense. After I posted this I did a little digging on the Beautiful fan Tumblr and saw a newcomer named Nasia Thomas will be in the ensemble.
Other than that, nothing else. Very curious as to who will be playing Genie, Gerry and Donny. Also, if Ben and Becky are still attached since that announcement was leaked back in the fall.
Great cast. I just got my season tickets from the Pantages Theatre here in LA and I noticed that most of the shows cost $105 (based on my package) but If/Then cost $10 more (cause of Idina, most likely) and Beautiful cost $20 more. If this is the cost for season holders, I bet general admission will cost more than regular performances. Will Beautiful be as successful on tour than it is on Broadway and the West End? I think, YES! The Pantages always changes the prices on BIG shows like Wicked, Book of Mormon, Lion King, they know already that it's in that level? Who knows, but I'm beyond excited to see this show. I've listened to the cast recording since it came out. Great cast!
Wow Jose the top price for IF/THEN in Atlanta is $80 bucks as part of a subscription. Of course, we aren't getting Idina. BOM is $99 and Beautiful is $95. General admission will be much more, of course.
"Put away your smugness for a minute. Just because it's been done before doesn't mean people can't find delight in it. There's always going to be a couple MLB no-hitters every season, but just because someone's not the first doesn't mean it's not special."
I wasn't being smug I was just stating a fact that it was done before. If you want to wet your panties as if this casting were the greatest thing since sliced bread go right the fvck ahead.
I know the person who posted that video on YouTube...
