My friend and I arrive amidst the flash flood warnings yesterday morning at probably like 8:15. There were at least 26 people ahead of us. It was a two show day. We did get tickets but I would not necessarily recommend arriving later than 8:30 for rush as there were a bunch of people in line rushing the show for the second time. Not all rush tickets are in the front row at least not yesterday- we were in orchestra left row C 13 and 15. The last two seats closest to the outside aisle.

You attended the matinee or evening?

Were your far-side seats marked as Partial View or Full View?  DID you get to see everything or some stuff was obstructed?

Rushed Saturday 8/18. Arrived at 8:05am and was 20th in line. There were about 30 people in line by 9 and probably close to 40 by box office opening.

We did get rush tickets and so did the few people behind us. Our seats were right orchestra, row A, seats 2 and 4. Marked partial view. They were off to the side obviously and like previous posts the stage is HIGH. I’m 5’11” and usually don’t have trouble but there was a few moments I couldn’t see. Mainly when they’re seated on the couch/dance steps far back. But nothing major. Highly recommend the seat cushion.

If anyone is rushing for weds matinee as a singleton, I'd love to be your #2. I'm coming in from Boston, just for the day and cannot make it in time for rush.

Shoot me a PM if you want to work something out!
TIA

Thanks for all the info on the PW rush.  I'll be getting into JFK at 5:30am this Thursday from my red eye, and once I exit the E subway at 42nd Street from JFK, I'll head right over to the theatre to get in line for that night's performance.  Really looking forward to seeing the show.

I did rush this morning (August 31),  got there at 7:45am and was fourth in line.  Ended up with seat A11 Partial View in the orchestra. I think by 10am there were between 30-40 people there, but most people came after 9am.

Are you sure it was A11 and not A111?

I'm looking at the ticket now... you were definitely closer, it was A110 (front row center).

I rushed this show on Tuesday. I arrived at the theatre for 9:50 and I got a second row seat on the far left. "Partial View" but honestly I missed very little of the show. The man next to me told me he got his rush ticket around 3pm that day. But by the time the box office opened, there were about 15 people there.

Rushing this Saturday let me know if anybody wants a ticket or would like to join in rushing

I rushed last Saturday and got there at 7 am.  I started out 8th in line, but once the "friends" joined the line I became 12th.  It worked out for me, because most of the people in front of me, wanted the evening performance.  I ended up the fourth person to receive their tickets for matinee.  I read here and was originally told in the line that they start in the middle and work their way to the aisles with the tickets.  However, the first person in line, received the middle section but the first two seats from the aisle.  By the time it was my turn, I received a ticket right in the center.  When Samantha was lying on the floor watching tv, she was directly in front of me.  I also agree with the cushions.  I am 6'3 and the stage was still cut off for me.  Once I got my cushion, it raised my body well above  and my view was perfect.

I rushed the show several weeks ago on a Thursday and got to the box office at 7:15am.  I came straight from JFK, w/luggage - via my red eye flight from Los Angeles.  I was the first person there, and about 20 minutes later a group of 4 girls arrived.  When the box office opened, there was probably 20 people in line.  I got front row, right on the center aisle.  Yes, the stage is high, but I'm 6' 4", so it was just fine.

I walked up to the box office at about 4pm this past Thursday and got a rush ticket in the rear mezz (which was perfectly fine).

Just rushed today! Box office opens at 12 on Sundays; I reached at 9.50pm and was second in line. The line started getting busier around 10.30am, and by the time box office opened I think there were about 20 people in line. Front row seats were great, but the stage is quite high; seat cushion came in handy.

Arrived around 10:45/11 yesterday. Jillian Mueller made a last minute (and flawless) debut as Vivian at the matinee. What a force that gal is!

I'd love to hear more about her performance! I was hoping to see her debut but it was such short notice. Not sure if you have seen the show with Sam but I'd love to know how her performance compares.

So with there being a lottery does that mean there's not going to be a rush anymore

thanks

Whereas it's possible there may be a change in the number and/or location of the rush seats, according to the production's official website there should be BOTH a lottery and a rush ticket distribution.
