Thanks - but I need more photos of Colin Firth to return to that site!
So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?
There are only a few already seen photos (there are better ones out there); the downloads are only an IM Icon and basic logo wallpaper and worst of all... its the domestic/US "Sophie" trailer and not the sensational International "Donna" trailer.
What it DOES have is a quite long snippet of Meryl Streep's "Mamma Mia!" playing in the background. I had it looped for about 5 minutes straight. Its surreal how Meryl 'gets' the ABBA music. Its going to be quite a revelation seeing/hearing her interpret ABBA. Who knew?
The lady never stops surprising me. I can't get over the way she sings the words "hearted" and "parted." It just thrills me and makes me happy. I also love her "I should not have let you go." Never thought I would swoon over the way anyone sings ABBA's lyrics, but Meryl has that effect on me. And I too have it playing on a loop...
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
